Janelle N. Coleman is a senior executive and philanthropic leader who serves as Vice President of Community Engagement for American Electric Power and President of the AEP Foundation, where she directs a $30 million annual investment portfolio and mobilizes 17,000 employees in community impact across 11 states. With more than 25 years of experience—including key leadership roles at L Brands overseeing $150 million in global grantmaking—she has built a career centered on strategic philanthropy, equity, and community advancement. Her extensive board service spans education, civic institutions, and community foundations, and she is an active member of the Executive Leadership Council, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and The Links, Incorporated.
